Win a Butler County Prize Package #cavecountrytrailschallenge

The third Cave Country Trails Challenge of 2023 has arrived and is bringing the chance to win a fabulous package, worth over $400, from our partners at the Butler County Tourism and Convention Commission. This Cave Country Trails Challenge begins July 1st. You have EVERY day of July to hop on a trail and enter, AND there’s no limit on the number of trails you can enter during the month. 

The package includes:

The City of Morgantown, an official Trail Town, hosts several events on the Green River throughout the year. The season typically begins with the largest event: the Green River Ramble during the first Saturday of June. The Green River has several locations available to begin your kayaking and boating adventures, including Woodbury Dock, Morgantown Dock and Rochester Dock. Our events are adult and kid-friendly with a very easily-traveled waterway.

How do we enter the challenge? 

It’s pretty simple! Get on one of the trails IN OUR REGION during the month of June, post a pic of your time on the trail, and tag us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or TikTok! Just use the hashtag #cavecountrytrailschallenge so we can find your entry. Posting/tagging can happen any day in June. We will have a special push in the final week to remind you to get those entries in!

ALL of our trails can be found here on our website, so spend a minute cruising around all the info. Our region includes the counties of Hart, Barren, Warren, Edmonson, Butler and Simpson. The winner of July’s Challenge will be announced during the first week of August.
